Kelly to sing the National Anthem @ Indianapolis!
Kelly Rowland, a member of the chart-topping, Grammy-winning musical group Destiny's Child, will sing the national anthem before the start of the 13th Allstate 400 at the Brickyard.
Rowland, a native of Atlanta, burst into stardom in the late 1990s with Destiny's Child, one of the top-selling female musical groups in history. Her first solo album, Simply Deep, sold more than 2 million copies after its release in 2002. She is recording her next solo album, My Story ... Kelly Rowland, which is due for release in early 2007.

Besides her musical career, Rowland has branched out into acting. She starred in the blockbuster film, Freddie Vs. Jason in 2003 and was featured in the comedy The Seat Filler in 2004. She also recently appeared in three episodes of the popular UPN TV series, Girlfriends.

Rowland also works tirelessly in philanthropic efforts. She co-founded The Survivor Foundation, which benefits Hurricane Katrina and Rita victims and has served as a spokesperson for Ronald McDonald House/World Children's Day.

She also performed at the esteemed Snowflake Event for UNICEF and participated in the Aldo/YouthAIDS print campaign to raise awareness and funds for AIDS prevention and research. Rowland also is the spokesperson for YouthAIDS' five-year worldwide 8 Wonders campaign.

Kelly & Michelle to be featured on new gospel cd
Kelly and Michelle will both have solo songs on the new "Spirit Rising" cd. The cd is a two cd set. The cd features "You Will Win" by Kelly Rowland and "Do You Know" (Live in Atlanta) by Michelle Williams. "You Will Win" is rumored to the song that Michelle wrote for Kelly for her upcoming album. The cd will be released September 12. You may also pre-order the double disc on the Spirit Rising website.
